"I wish my chronic pain went away"

Are you living with relentless pain and have been told by your doctor:


“I've checked everything, there's nothing wrong with you, it must be all in the head”.


You're not alone.




I see you, I hear you and I understand the frustration of feeling dismissed.


Because I see it so often when I meet new clients.


And I know they – and you – are not crazy or pretending and it's not “all in your head.”


Your body is screaming for help.


Let me share one real-life scenario with you – this is one example about a digestive issue, but it is interchangeable with many other symptoms, whether it's migraine, debilitating back pain or tooth ache due to teeth grinding and so on ...


So I recently read the story of a young woman whose life was consumed by a mysterious, excruciating pain. She had seen her doctor a few times but her concerns were brushed aside.


To cut a long and agonising story short, she helped herself with extremely hot water bottles constantly strapped to her tummy and she regularly took pain killers – codeine – an opioid nevertheless.


Thoughts like “is there anything I can still eat?” or “is there a toilet nearby?” often dominate patients' thoughts – which adds to the stress and can make the symptoms worse.


I believe that I understand why nothing seems to work.


Conventional treatments often focus on masking the pain rather than addressing the underlying stress that holds your body in a state of chronic physiology.


Your body has an incredible ability to heal, but it struggles when it's stuck in survival mode.


I'd like to offer a solution.


Your body wants to heal, but it can't do that when it's stuck in a constant state of stress.


Many clients with digestive issues who have been practising TRE report positive outcomes.


Why?


Because TRE can shift us out of this stress physiology into a ventral vagal state - which is the opposite of the "Fight or Flight" (sympathetic nervous system) response – and allows us to move out of survival mode and into a state of well-being.


And when the body feels safe and relaxed, the heart rate calms down, breathing is relaxed and the body is in a state of homeostasis.


Please note, I'm not talking about a cure here, I am reporting from TRE clients who were fed-up with the usual answers and conventional treatments and decided to address the underlying issue.


I've witnessed this shift so often.


This is the transformative power of TRE.


Again, let me make it super-clear, though, it's not a magic cure nor a quick fix - although many of my clients have noticed some kind of relief in their first session.


But learning TRE gives you a powerful, lifelong tool to support your own healing.


And I hear that from my colleagues, too – we have all seen clients whose symptoms have improved considerably.


Of course, this is not a promise, but a tool to shift your body from stress to relaxation – which can have many positive follow-on effects.


The woman from the newspaper article chose a different route.


So this patient is now on medication and feels very lucky, because it's helped her, she hasn't had any pain attacks and can take part in life again, which is fabulous – but …


... she said she's “quite fatigued, her joints hurt, headaches are quite frequently, but those are just normal side effects.”


And this isn’t just her story — it's that of many people and maybe yours too.


TRE addresses the root, painkillers are a sticking plaster.


I want everybody to know how TREmendously amazing our bodies are.


And how you can address many health symptoms - without putting up with nasty side effects.

There are alternatives out there.


I know many people are exhausted, frustrated and might already have lost hope.


And you might know somebody in that position.
